How is the program is organised?

During phases 1, 2, and 3, the program is organised within the following universities, which form the Erasmus Mundus Master Consortium:

  • Catholic University of Leuven (K.U.Leuven)
  • University of Limerick (UL)
  • Palacky University Olomouc (UP)
  • The Norwegian University of Sport and Physical Education / Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NUSPE/NSSS)

During phase 4 and 5, students will have the opportunity to go to the University of Stellenbosch, the University of Queensland, or the University of Virginia for a period of up to 3 months.

The master's programme has a duration of one year, consists in total of 60 ECTS, and uses English as the official language of instruction. The Erasmus Mundus Master Programme involves study periods in at least two of the four universities forming the Consortium (see mobility models for reference).

The program is organised in 5 phases. After phase 3, all students will be evaluated individually. If a student does not meet the expected standards, he or she will not be admitted to phases 4 and 5, and will be removed from the program.
